"Gayle was born in Chevy Chase, Maryland, and lived the sort of life that Oprah had yearned for as a child in Milwaukee, Wisconsin."

This is unclear. Did Gayle live in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and Oprah yearned for that, or did Oprah live in Milwaukee yearning for Gayle's life elsewhere?

That and the rest of the article was pretty much copied verbatim from an Oprah fan site. I removed that sentence and tried to clean up the article. Propound 04:01, 18 July 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Disputed claim

According to an interview Gayle did with the Philadelphia Enquirer in Feb 2007, she claims that Oprah Winfrey did NOT give her $1 million dollars. —The preceding comment is by Cattona (talk • contribs) 21:00, 20 April 2007: Please sign your posts!
