[edit] Reason for not deleting

This band is/was a well known band in the UK with significant coverage http://www.vh1.com/artists/az/gay_dad/bio.jhtml http://www.hiponline.com/artist/music/g/gay_dad/index.html Nuttah68 10:32, 21 May 2006 (UTC)

Wikipedia has an article on John Green, but listed Gay Dad for deletion? (raises eyebrow) -Ashley Pomeroy 16:47, 31 August 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Mary, Mary

"Contrary to reports, Jones never appeared on any recordings by Texas or Robbie Williams" - I don't doubt that it's true, but which reports are these? There are a few dozen Google hits for each of "Gay Dad" + "Cliff Jones" + "Robbie Williams" / "Texas", but they are all spurious. I remember the hype over Gay Dad, and the hype over the hype, but I don't remember any mention of work with Texas or Robbie Williams (although, for a variety of reasons, it sounds plausible, particularly mention of Texas, who were huge at the time but forgotten nowadays). -Ashley Pomeroy 16:47, 31 August 2007 (UTC)
