Cover art from sheet music for an 1870 English "comic" song by George Grossmith, called "The Gay Photographer" (that is, the "carefree" photographer). The song is about a photographer who broke the heart of a young lady named Miss Jenkins; so she drank his chemicals and died. A grim "comic" story! The cover art shows the studio with camera and skylight and, to the left, the interior of the darkroom.
