Gau-Algesheim is a town in the district Mainz-Bingen, in Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany. It is situated near the river Rhine, approximatively 20 km west of Mainz.

Gau-Algesheim is the seat of the Verbandsgemeinde ("collective municipality") Gau-Algesheim.
