I'm thinking of making Sharks and Minnows redirect to this page. The games seem almost exactly the same. But I was wondering if Sharks and Minnows is actually the more common name for this game, and whether we should change the name of this article. I'm from Tennessee and I've always heard it called Sharks and Minnows. Did anyone reading this live in enough different places as a kid to get a sense of this? --Allen 02:16, 7 February 2006 (UTC)

I've lived in Auburn, AL (a university town with very many people moving in and out) and Carrolton, GA, and it's always been called Gator. I've known one person from Tenessee who called it that, so perhaps that's the varient in the farther north states. I don't have time right now, but I'll have to add some of the other variants. -- T-1, 12 June 2006
