From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Gate of Honour, Caius Court, Gonville and Caius College, Cambridge University. When Dr. John Caius designed the court he left the fourth side open to prevent the accumulation of evil vapours and spirits. In the background (from left to right) are the Senate House, King's College chapel and the Caius College library (formerly the Squire Law Library).
