Don't you think that readers might want to know where the gastropub began? By the same logic references to McDonald's should be removed from Fast Food. Edward 17:07, 2005 Jan 2 (UTC)

I don't think there is any evidence to suggest that pub serving high quality food started at that particular pub. I can remeber going to pubs long before that, which attempted to do the same thing. Simply because someone coined a marketing term does mean that invented the underlying concept.--Jirate 17:13, 2005 Jan 2 (UTC)

Is it fair to say that the Fat Duck is a pub, or a gastro-pub? I always understood it to be far more involved that that; as Heston's TV show tonight will no doubt show! 16:50, 2006 Oct 31 (UTC)

The Fat Duck is not a pub. People often confuse it with Blumenthals other resteraunt, which is a pub, so I shall remove the entry. Adamshappy 16:56, 1 December 2006 (UTC)
