[edit] Suggested move

There are four variants of this name (Google hits):

  • Gaspar Poussin (293)
  • Gaspar Dughet (170)
  • Gaspard Poussin (593)
  • Gaspard Dughet (658)

Dughet was adopted by Nicolas Poussin, hence the family name change. This article, based on the 1911 Britannica, calls the painter Gaspar Poussin. The top Google hits for this name are WP mirrors. The current Britannica calls him Gaspard Dughet. The category on commons is also called "Gaspard Dughet". Unfortunately, I created a redirect Gaspard Dughet pointing to this article, so it now takes an admin to move the article to what I believe to be the correct location. Rl 08:43, 4 Jun 2005 (UTC)
