[edit] Welcome to Wikipedia!

Welcome to Wikipedia, a free and open-content encyclopedia. I hope you enjoy contributing. To help get you settled in, I thought you might find the following pages useful:

Don't worry too much about being perfect. Very few of us are! Just in case you are not perfect, click here to see how you can avoid making common mistakes.

If you are stuck, and looking for help, please come to the New contributors' help page, where experienced Wikipedians can answer any queries you have! Or, you can just type {{helpme}} on your user page, and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions.

Wikipedians try to follow a strict policy of never biting new users. If you are unsure of how to do something, you are welcome to ask a more experienced user such as an administrator. One last bit of advice: please sign any dicussion comment with four tildes (~~~~). The software will automatically convert this into your signature which can be altered in the "Preferences" tab at the top of the screen. I hope I have not overwhelmed you with information. If you need any help just let me know -- and don't forget to tell us about yourself and be BOLD!

Also, I saw the two articles you uploaded -- Siquitibum and Chiquitibum. Where you have two words for the same thing, you don't have to write and upload two articles -- you can write one article for one term, then use a "redirect" page for the other term. See Help:Redirect for more information.

Once again welcome to Wikipedia,

[edit] Notification

A tag has been placed on Simple Dreams, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. If you plan to expand the article, you can request that administrators wait a while for you to add contextual material. To do this, affix the template {{hangon}} to the page and state your intention on the article's talk page. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. [edit] Vandalism

Please stop. If you continue to vandalize Wikipedia, as you did to Echo Park, Los Angeles, California, you will be blocked from editing Prairie Dog 06:49, 13 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Yo, Doggie boy

Yo Doggie, how did I vandalize the Echo Park entry? By editing out BS/fantasy yuppie nincompoop entries? I have contributed more factual info to Echo Park, Silverlake, Highland Park, Los Feliz, Elysian Valley, Elysian Heights than most anyone else, doggie boy. If you want to write fantasy, do what yuppies do and write a script...or go bar-hopping!

Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did to Islam in the African Diaspora. Your edits appear to constitute vandalism and have been reverted. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you. — Malik Shabazz (Talk | contribs) 00:27, 4 October 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Your recent edits

Hi there. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. On many keyboards, the tilde is entered by holding the Shift key, and pressing the key with the tilde pictured. You may also click on the signature button Image:Wikisigbutton.png located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you! --SineBot 08:03, 17 October 2007 (UTC)

[edit] RE: RE: My message to unicyclegirl

Heh, I think it was this one. Looking back, I suppose it isn't that bad... So my apologies. *Cremepuff222* 14:30, 17 October 2007 (UTC)

[edit] January 2008

Please do not add unreferenced or poorly referenced information, especially if controversial, to articles or any other page on Wikipedia about living persons, as you did to Lasse Virén. Thank you. Prolog (talk) 05:58, 28 January 2008 (UTC)

[edit] February 2008

Please stop adding unreferenced controversial biographical content to articles or any other Wikipedia page, as you did at Lasse Virén. Content of this nature could be regarded as defamatory and is in violation of Wikipedia policy. If you continue, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. [edit] Yo Pro

Yes yes...I'm a bad boy for telling the truth about the cheater who passes himself off as a hero. It seems you Finns are the only people in the world that dont know that the cat is out of the bag, and has been for the last 20 years when the persons involved came forth and confessed. Too bad they cannot take his medals away. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Garagehero (talkcontribs)

If you consider telling The Truth more important than verifiability, neutrality and BLP, Wikipedia is not for you. Prolog (talk) 17:45, 24 February 2008 (UTC)
Nor is it a forum for fairy tales about cheaters who were caught cheating and never again performed at the same level after blood-doping was outlawed. LOL!!!
