Band History- Garrotted formed in Fort Madison, Iowa early 2008 with Members Ryan Butler-Bass, Main Vocals, Jeremy Decker-Guitar, Backup Vocals, and Kevin "The Reverend" Kottenstette-Guitar,Backup Vocals. They are a Metal/ Black Metal/ Hardcore band.

Influences- Band influences of Garrotted include Slayer, All That Remains, Trivium, Iorn Maiden, Slipknot, Black Label Society, Mad-town Metal, Mastodon, Shadows Fall, Pantera, Ozzy.
