Glad to see how Gary Hall Sr.'s legacy is remembered. However, there was no 400m butterfly at the Munich olympics or any other olympics - it was actually the 200m butterfly. I watched him swim against my brother (Kurt Spohn) at the 1972 Olympic Trials in Chicago.
