DeMar seems to validated Media Matter's criticism in December 2005 when he told a Christian magazine that, "I would execute gays only if we catch them indulging in sodomy."[1] FloNight talk 20:26, 17 May 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Hello 72.54.64.166

I saw that you edited the Gary DeMar article. Another editor removed the information from the article because it was not backed up by verifiable reliable sources. I apologize to you for that editor labeling your edits as vandalism. To me it looks like the edits might have been made by the subject or the article or someone that knows him. If that is the case, I encourage you to read WP:AUTO and the biographies of living person guideline. Hopefully, this will help you avoid some of the pitfalls of editing at Wikipedia.

If you have information that you want to add to the article, you can discuss it here on the talk page. If you have any questions or concerns please contact me on my user talk page or by email [2]. regards, FloNight talk 15:00, 13 June 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Sodomy

I removed a statement saying that Gary Demar believes that sodomites should be killed. Although he has expressed that sodomy is not a right granted by the Constitution, and has also told the story of a military figure who was put to death for sodomy in 1778 (http://www.americanvision.org/articlearchive/05-10-06.asp), he hasn't outright stated that sodomy should be punished by death. Furthermore, his beliefs about sodomy are only a small part of his beliefs, and thus to include a comment on his belief of sodomy would only fit in if his views on several other things were also included.
