The tag was put on this article less than 5 minutes - before I could even finish the third edit. This hastidly added tag is not warranted as Dr. Burtless has published 11 books, numerous articles and there are 2,350 google hits for "Gary T Burtless" & 25,200 for "Gary Burtless." Looking over the six guidelines for notability (in academia), he meets all of them. He is certainly more notable than the average professor as the over-the-thumb rule suggests. Regards, Signature^brendel 07:34, 2 February 2008 (UTC)
