I wish these painting articles had more discussions of the artwork itself, rather than their monetary worth (see the most of the List of most expensive paintings to see what I'm talking about) - can we please talk about the painting's technique, or influence? Why, for example, is it worth so much money in the first place? I'm no art expert, so I'm not going to try to add this, but I came to the page in hopes of finding out. Can anyone upload a better picture here? The one that's posted right now is low res and cuts off a lot of the painting.
