Gary Wallis

Gary Wallis (born June 10, 1964 in, Westminster, London) is a drummer/percussionist trained at the London Symphony School Of Music He is best known as the secondary percussionist for Pink Floyd in the post-Waters era for live performances. He can be seen and heard on the Delicate Sound Of Thunder album and video as well as the P*U*L*S*E album and off-shoot video. He has also performed with Mike & the Mechanics, Nik Kershaw, Power Station, Spinal Tap and Jean Michel Jarreas well as Style Council and 10 cc Gary Wallis is known as "DAMAGE" by his fellow musicians (because of all the gear he broke on the tours)
Between 2002 and 2004 he toured Germany with the German band called Schiller, the brainchild of Christopher von Deylen and amongst Schillers guests on the tours were Sarah Brightman and Peter Heppner on vocals. Wallis also played on the Europe wide hit "I feel you".
In the late-nineties Wallis was musical director for Tom Jones. 2004/2005 Wallis as musical director for girl bands Girls Aloud and Atomic Kitten. in 2006/2007, Wallis were the musical director and drummer for the classical crossover band Il Divo.
As of 2008 is Wallis the drummer of the band westlife on their Back Home Tour.
