Gary Blackney (born December 12, 1944) is the current defensive coordinator of the Maryland football program. He previously served as the former head coach of the Bowling Green college football program from 1991-2000. He also served as an assistant coach with the Ohio State, Syracuse, UCLA, Wisconsin, Rhode Island, and Brown football programs.
