James Garth Jax (born September 16, 1963 in Houston, Texas) was an American football player who played 10 seasons in the NFL for the Dallas Cowboys and the Phoenix/Arizona Cardinals. Jax may have been best known amongst Cardinals fans for tackling a drunk fan who ran onto the field at Sun Devil Stadium.
