[GangaTV] is a dream project of Ganga sewak samaj, which is a community initiative dedicated to save Ganga movement. The Mukhya Sewa Sidhankar of Ganga sewak samaj Dr.Ashok Srichand experimented with various prevaling thoughts and modes to save Ganga. He find out two basic facts, 1-Lac of people awareness and participation, 2- Abscence of effective tool/system to create awareness/participation. Television channel is the most effective tool to create people participation, So Dr.Ashok Srichand decided to setup a television channel, with the common man funding, which is the new revolution in media. Such media tools are the need of hour, which are accountable/responsible directly to its viewers, not Govt/Business houses.
