Propose merge into The Note (ABC News). Wikipedia is not a dictionary and the term is only used in reference to Halperin and The Note. Propose that this term be defined where it appears in the entry for The Note. --WWB 22:00, 12 May 2007 (UTC)

I object. This phrase is used fairly broadly in the liberal and general blogosphere to refer to washington insiders who set the conventional wisdom (and enable the Bush administraton)
