Gang of Four (Harlem)

The Gang of Four was an African-American political coalition from Harlem whose members later ascended to top political posts.

The four members were:

and Percy Sutton, eventually Manhattan Borough President.

The son of Basil Paterson, David Paterson, became Governor of New York in 2008 following the resignation of Eliot Spitzer.[1]
