I enjoy computer programming very much, and have been writing code since I was about eight or nine years old. My forté is video game programming, although all types of software development are interesting to me. I am an avid Linux user and use Kubuntu 7.10 on my desktop and laptop.

I own an ESP H-200 electric guitar with dual Duncan humbuckers, and a Fender Blues Junior NOS Lacquer Tweed Limited Edition all-tube amplifier. I love playing the blues and classic rock, but also enjoy hair metal guitar solos, classical music (as well as neoclassical electric guitar), grunge/indie rock, Sublime, and many other genres.
My favorite guitarist is Stevie Ray Vaughan.

Although not very accomplished, I enjoy fiddling with breadboards and making little gadgets out of microchips, microcontrollers and discreet components. I plan to build some electric guitar tone effects, eventually.

For whatever reason I am fascinated by volcanoes, and regularly keep track of online seismographs of active volcanoes such as Mount Saint Helens.

I enjoy mechanical things and working on cars. I have built a somewhat functional home shop and own enough tools and computer equipment to work on almost any car.

I am a swimming pool technician and "associate" pool mechanic and work year around for a local spa and pool cleaner. I am versed in water chemistry and filtration, and have serviced/worked on over 100 individual swimming pool or spa systems spanning < 500 gallon hot tubs to 250,000+ gallon competition pools.
