[edit] Direct to disambiguation page?

  • While I don't object to seeing these Japanese girls for obvious reasons, I really think the Free Aceh Movement (English and Indonesian media refer to it by it's Indonesian acronym GAM) which is discussing internal struggle and loss of life for over half a century is really more important.

Can we have a redirect on GAM automatically to the disambiguation page and rename this to GAM (Japanese Idol Group) or something of the like?

  • Technically speaking, this is the english version of Wikipedia, so the Free Aceh Movement would be referred to as FAM over GAM. However, I have no objection to a redirect to the disambiguation page.

The page on the girl group would probably be better named as GAM_(Great_Aya_and_Miki) however, since that is what GAM stands for OR GAM_(Gyamu), since Gyamu is how it's pronounced. Either or.

[edit] Rename

Sorry for the accidental rename. I didn't notice it was an acronym. I've put in the request at WP:RM to move it back like it was. Neier 11:38, 30 March 2007 (UTC)
