Talk:Gallup's List of Widely Admired People

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

I'm supremely surprised that any US presidents are on there, considering that at any given time, half the US population hates anything having to do with that president's political party, no matter what.. ~especially~ Bill Clinton, whom I remember being quite despised while in office.

It seems that once a president's term ends he becomes more popular, because he is an elder statesman without any real power.

Why is Henry Ford, the person that inspired many of Hitler's policies, on this list???

Uh, you'll have to ask the Gallup people about that... Natalie 03:38, 14 March 2007 (UTC)
  • I'm actually more curious how a televangelist is more 'admired' then the pope. Seems kinda backwards, but whatever. Ghostalker

I'm extremely surprised Maggie Thatcher is there.

Well, get over it. --Counter-revolutionary (talk) 22:47, 1 January 2008 (UTC)
