[edit] Pronunciation

I would be interested in knowing how to pronounce this name. Is the emphasis on the first syllable (GAL a ton) or the second (gull AT an)? I use existing English words for my phonetic transcriptions, but in the widely recognized International Phonetic Alphabet, it would look like this: 1- [g'ælətən] 2- [gəl'æʔən] where the T has become a glottal stop and is notated using the symbol resembling a question mark.
