Does this subject deserve so much space on Wikipedia? A few references would do. Could easily be incorporated in the article on glalantamine, with those few references. Except for very, very few biochemists, who cares? Mwinog2777 05:26, 11 July 2007 (UTC)

  • I am far from being a chemist nor a biochemist, but I find this a curious article and it is not getting in the way of anything else. It might be written on a simpler level, but I would think that the folks who would ever consider reading it would find the jargon acceptable. It is far from slanderous or damaging and the background might be helpful for those who need examples of total synthesis (whoever they may be). --Chrispounds 15:47, 13 July 2007 (UTC)
