It is believed that the use of this image in the Galaga article constitutes fair use under U.S. law and Wikipedia policy, because:

• The Galaga article contains a section discussing various clones, including this particular game. This screenshot is useful in providing a general idea of what these clones look like. A textual description would be ineffective for this purpose.
• Publication of a single screenshot of an interactive game does not in any way limit or impair the publisher's ability to sell the game, nor does it serve as a substitute for the game itself. Therefore, the use is de minimis.
• No free equivalent is available.
