This is a gallery of banknotes, also known as bills or notes, from around the world. Paper and polymer money, as a medium for artists, has continued to gain popularity as an art form. The most wide spread theme on notes is a portrait of a notable citizen on the front (face) and a different motif on the back (back). Click on an image for greater detail.
