Galerie W is a contemporary art gallery in the Montmartre district of Paris.
Galerie W was founded by Eric Landau 1999, and is co-directed by his partner Isabelle Euverte. With floor space of over 1200 meters squared, W is one of the largest commercial galleries in France.[citation needed]
It represents Troy Henriksen, Miss Tic, Gary Farrelly and the deceased nouvelle realist Raymond Hains. The artists who show at Galerie W work in sculpture, painting, photography and lithography.
The gallery also hosts temporary events and exhibitions, including Polka Magazine (2008), Jean-Charles de Castelbarjac la Croix-Rouge (2007), and Les Chemins Solidair (2008), as well as book signings, charity events and product launches.
In June 2008, Galerie W plans to open a small sister gallery also in Montmartre to be called Galerie Woo.
