Galashiels railway station is to serve the town of Galashiels, Scottish Borders, Scotland. It is to be reopened as part of the Waverley Line, a controversial new project to run between Edinburgh and eventually Carlisle. However, current plans are for the line to terminate at Tweedbank, a village on the outskirts of Galashiels.
