I removed the speedy delete tag from this user page because I didn't think it was applicable. I don't think user pages can ever be a CSD, and furthermore the criteria for speedy deletion state that "Reasons derived from Wikipedia:What Wikipedia is not. Wikipedia is not: "a dictionary", "an indiscriminate collection of information", "a crystal ball", etc." are not candidates. This issue should be discussed with the user, and if there is no resolution you could nominate it at Wikipedia:Miscellany_for_deletion. WP:UP may prove a helpful resource. Really, you should have just asked the user to remove it first. From the User page guidelines: "Be very careful not to scare a newbie away from Wikipedia, and try to assume good faith that they are merely trying to share information about themselves. Thanks for your edits to the Chicago Cubs page. I kept some of your new content, but frankly it was not well written and way too long. If you want to add more to the '03 season, please add it to 2003 Chicago Cubs season which is a better place for "long stories" because this page is basically a recap. I was demonstrating the repetitive nature of the song. It was a sample of a lyric and not simply repeating the same words over and over and over and over (is that allowed.. over and over??)and supports the contribution. But you call it vandalism. Is there any reasoning behind that? I can see how approving unblock requests should be admin-only, but for declining requests I don't see the problem. Gakusha 04:36, 2 October 2007 (UTC)
Admins may know more than you (e.g. deleted contribs or access to unblock-en-l) and declining it means there is no chance for an admin to give a user a second chance or act on sockpuppetry or other special cases that may be missed by a new user/ non-admin. -- John Reaves 04:46, 2 October 2007 (UTC)

Why are you saying the article is not about their competition? It is an article about a company called Fiserv, that, like any other company has market competitors. What is the problem?

The problem is that you are including too much about the other companies. It reads like an entire article for it. If you wanted to include a one or two sentence bit on how they have competition, that's fine. But please don't tell the life story of their competitors. Gakusha 22:03, 5 October 2007 (UTC)
