Gakkō no Kaidan (学校の階段? lit. The School's Staircase) is a series of Japanese light novels written by Takaaki Kaima and illustrated by Amane Amahuku.
The series started with the release of the first volume on November 10, 2006, which was originally published by the Japanese company Enterbrain, but has since been licensed for release in Taiwan and Hong Kong, China. The first novel of the series is later adapted into a full-length feature film directed by Hirohisa Sasaki.
