[edit] Peanuts "saccharine"?

Comment: I question the characterization of "Peanuts" as being an overly sweet view of childhood. The TV cartoons may have been after a while, but the comic strip never was. Is there a source for Wilson saying this is how he felt about Schulz's work? (unsigned comment by User:72.93.242.76 originally put on article page)
