This template may intentionally not have any transclusions due to substitution or some other reason.

This template will highlight a phrase, such as a place name or event, as needing translation into the Irish language. Marked articles will be added to the category All articles awaiting Irish translations.

Example:

• Code: Dublin{{gaeilge}}
• Result: Dublin^{[gaeilge needed]}

Marking phrases in this way will help editors providing translations for places names and other phrases.
