Is it just me? Or does enyone else feel the paragraph about the rape is a little too... personal?

I agree, it needs to be removed. The whole world does not need to know that.

That was so rude and disrespectful to say that someone who has been through something so traumatizing can not share it with the rest of the world. One in every five girls are raped and if one person speaks up about it, maybe they all will. Everything happens for a reason and her experience most likely helped another girl cope with that similar experience. I also, was raped, not by a stranger, but by my own boyfriend. That experience has taught me a lot about love and men. I do not hate men infact i have been with the same man for seven years, but i am not nieve. By sharing her dreadful experience with the world she helps bring light to something so dark that many women choose not to acknowledge the fact that they too are victims of rape let alone talk about it with others. From a man's point of view, I see Ms. Union as a strong and couragous woman. I dated a woman that was a victim of a date rape and the trama that lingers is devastating to say the least. Women - Keep fighting back & be strong!
