Gaaljecel

Gaaljecel is a Somali subclan of Gugudhabe, part of the larger Hawiye clan. The Gaaljecel live in the Hiiraan, Shabeellaha Hoose, Banaadir, and Jubbada Hoose regions of southern Somalia. Large segments of Gaaljecel subclans live in the Somali Region in Ethiopia and in Kenya, Shekih Hasan Barsane, the Somali anti-colonization, leader was Gaaljecel, and they mostly supported the Islamic Courts Union, especially in Hiiraan region. Muuse Nuur Amiin = Wasiirka Arrimaha Gudaha iyo Amniga Qaranka.
