G D Birla Memorial School eshtablished in 1987 in memory of the Indian industrialist Ghanshyam Das Birla by its founders Syt. B K Birla (Basant Kumar Birla) and Smt. Sarla Birla is a school situated in Ranikhet (Dist. Almora, India) providing quality education and residential facilities to over 700 students from grades 4 through 12.

It started from 1987 and was from 4th grade to 7th grade at that time...and was headed by Mr B S Adhikari. --Prameyak (talk) 20:31, 17 May 2008 (UTC)
