[edit] History
Based in Taiwan, this manufacturing company is not as well known in the markets of Europe and America. The G.SKILL corporation was established in 1989 by a group of computer enthusiasts. In 2003, the company debuted as a maker of highly targeted computer memory, focusing on high-quality, high-end products. The high-end offerings are especially well regarded among serious overclockers and other computer builders. [1] The company currently operates through several distributors and resellers in North America, Europe, Asia, and the Middle East. G.SKILL attempts to gain more credibility by participating in popular computer tests and reviews. The range of products is consistently well received by consumers and reviewers alike.[2]

RAM: G.SKILL is known for its wide range of DDR and DDR2 computer memory. [3] RAM is available in both single channel and dual channel packs for desktops as well as laptops. Low-end products include the "Value Series" which offers a more modest yet affordable solution to the average computer user. The "Extreme" RAM choices are where the company gains recognition. [4] These offering boast much greater capacity, low timings and latency, as well as useful additions such as heatspreaders. Such options are expensive and targeted at a select group of computer experts and serious builders.
The company has also produced flash cards in several formats including Secure Digital and Multimedia Card in addition to high capacity USB 2.0 flash drives.
