Born from parents Eric and Aurora Toengi. Giselle has four siblings namely: Avie, Tony, John and Sharon.
She studied at the Lee Strasberg School of Acting in New York.
In 2005, she married Tim Walters. They now have a child named Sakura.

She was 16 when she was discovered by an agent in mall. She was then launched as a member of the pioneer batch of Star Circle (now Star Magic).
