[edit] Edits to Hilary Duff
Your edit summary "A man with a large work and data accepted in other articles is hardly unreliable" falls flat when u check the site. The very first line on the website states that "The following material on the immediate ancestry of Hilary Duff should not be considered either exhaustive or authoritative, but rather as a first draft". Since the author himself is unsure and claims it to be a "draft", i think its unreliable as per WP:RS. Since u have removed the date of birth, i guess u shd also remove the cite as it was being used to backup the claim of her being born in 1953, which may or maynot be true....In any case it is irrelevant....Secondly, We need not mention the fact that Susan was a producer, becos afterall she has produced only Material Girls and maybe one or two more movies...Moreover it doesnt seem notable enough to be mentioned in an article abt Hilary. I hope u dont mind removing it and restoring it to prev version. I am aiming for a Feature article status here and we should remove unreliable sources and unnecessary info. Thanx...Gprince007 (talk) 13:32, 7 June 2008 (UTC)
A first draft is still a first draft, it doesn't mean its content are all wrong, only that some might be wrong and they're mostly incomplete. Õther pages have that information but are so complete that they'd hardly be wrong, and no doubt the President's ancestries, at least, are absolutely right. The rest, the info that she was a producer was already at her sister's page: if it was fine for her, it would have been for her too. G.-M. Cupertino (talk) 13:34, 7 June 2008 (UTC)
