[edit] Death date wrong?
"On May 27th 1945 Guenther Anhalt was killed in action while defending Berlin."
I am suspicious of this date, since it's well after the end of hostilities. Either Anhalt died earlier, or he died as some sort of post-War fanatic who wouldn't lay down his arms. If the latter, that's hardly part of the defense of Berlin, which ended in early May. Afabbro 04:01, 10 March 2007 (UTC)

I wasn't being shy. I actually didn't get your message until after you'd finished changing it. Fifth Rider 21:04, 24 October 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Rewrite + question on Wormhoudt involvement
This article just underwent a major overhaul. There are still some unanswered questions, chiefly:
What exactly was Anhalt's involvement in the Wormhoudt Massacre? Research through Wikipedia has suggested that he was a commander of a smaller unit in the same battalion, and was promoted there only 18 days before the massacre. It seems like a strong possibility that he was involved, but I can't find exactly which unit actually threw the grenades. Anyone who knows should kindly post that here. Thanks. --Fifth Rider 17:10, 16 March 2007 (UTC)
- I expended the intro. Will look for info on him to see what I can dredge up. Article needs sources. --Lendorien 14:58, 10 May 2007 (UTC)
