[edit] homely?

"Homely"? Just so you are aware this means Ugly in north american English. perhaps you meant it in the british sense, but keep this in mind. Dan Carkner 04:57, 21 November 2006 (UTC)

You're right. "Homely" is also "of plain features, not handsome" according to Webster, which wasn't what was meant. I changed it to "sober". I was thinking in the British sense. Thx for the info. Cretanforever 09:20, 10 January 2007 (UTC)

Hi, i made it "conservative" because "sober" means not to be drunk —Preceding unsigned comment added by Ceven (talkcontribs)

True :) By the way don't forget to sign your name using the four ~s. Cheers! Baristarim 04:18, 12 April 2007 (UTC)
Actually, "sober" is the most appropriate term, because it also means "not wild, serious, calm" apart from the word's association with absence of alcohol consumption. "Conservative" may imply, for example, the idea that she was previously wearing a headscarf. Anyway, I leave it as it is. Cretanforever 05:51, 16 April 2007 (UTC)
