Prussia as a nation ceased to exist at the end of the Franco-Prussian War, yet this article, under History, refers to "Prussian government" as of 1885. I'm not sure if within pre-World War I Germany government or some branches of government were referred to as "Prussian," so I believe this is just an error... but I want some feedback before I go ahead and make this edit, just to verify what I suspect. Prussia continued to exist as a state of Germany until the 1930s. Local administration was the responsibility of the states, not of the federal government. --Chl 13:23, 30 September 2005 (UTC)
