Gávea Investimentos

Gávea Investimentos is a Brazilian independent investment firm, founded in 2003 by Arminio Fraga, former head of the Central Bank of Brazil.
Gávea has three business areas: hedge funds, wealth management and illiquid strategies (inc private equity). At the end of October 2007, it had US$ 5.5 billion under management.
The firm, based in Rio de Janeiro, has 89 employees.
