[edit] Please use the Move tab

In the future, please do NOT use cut&paste to move/rename pages. It separates the content contributions from their history, and from the Talk page if one exists. The Move tab keeps it all together to comply with GFDL licensing. For more info, see Wikipedia:How to rename (move) a page. Thanks. Niteowlneils 07:55, 17 October 2005 (UTC)

[edit] For future reference

"Democrat" is a noun. "Democratic" is an adjective.

In your bios of DC city council members, you incorrectly use "Democrat" as an adjective. I've corrected a couple of them.--Francisx 10:52, 14 December 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Cleveland Park Citizens Association

I've added the "{{prod}}" template to the article Cleveland Park Citizens Association, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but I don't believe it satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and I've explained why in the deletion notice (see also Wikipedia:What Wikipedia is not and Wikipedia:Notability). Please either work to improve the article if the topic is worthy of inclusion in Wikipedia, or, if you disagree, discuss the issues raised at Talk:Cleveland Park Citizens Association. If you remove the {{dated prod}} template, the article will not be deleted, but note that it may still be sent to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. [edit] AfD nomination of Alma Gates

I've nominated Alma Gates, an article you created, for deletion. We appreciate your contributions, but in this particular case I do not feel that Alma Gates satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion; I have explained why in the nomination space (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and the Wikipedia deletion policy). Your opinions on the matter are welcome; please participate in the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Alma Gates and please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~). You are free to edit the content of Alma Gates during the discussion but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion discussion. Thank you. ChrisLamb 19:09, 25 June 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Elizabeth McIntire

A "{{prod}}" template has been added to the article Elizabeth McIntire, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but the article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice explains why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may contest the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page. Also, please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. [edit] DC Meetup notice

Greetings. There is going to be a Washington DC Wikipedia meetup on next Saturday, July 21st at 5pm in DC. Since you are listed in Category:Wikipedians in the District of Columbia, I thought I'd invite you to come. I'm sorry about the short notice for the meeting. Hopefully we'll do somewhat better in that regard next time. If you can't come but want to make sure that you are informed of future meetings be sure to list yourself under "but let me know about future events", and if you don't want to get any future direct notices (like this one), you can list yourself under "I'm not interested in attending any others either" on the DC meetup page. --Gmaxwell 16:13, 14 July 2007 (UTC)
