[edit] U.S. Forces?

What exactly is meant by the addition of:

"... as US forces seem to be able to recognise them as being friendly."

to the tail end of this section? It suggests that the positive reaction to the FV430 Mk3 is not due to any added capabilities or technical advancements. Rather, it suggests that the positive reaction is due solely to the reduced likelihood of being attacked by trigger-happy U.S. forces who are, otherwise, prone to shooting anything that isn't overtly 'friendly'.

This seems extremely doubtful, as the Bulldog is used in the context of the Iraqi insurgency, and, as the insurgents do not use armoured vehicles, there is not much risk of "friendly fire" incidents, even from trigger happy US forces ;-) . The statement was unsourced, anyway. --Raoulduke47 (talk) 19:22, 8 January 2008 (UTC)
