From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
HELLO :))
I wonder why nobody comes to instruct or correct me. Because this is my second day in the project, and I've been bold in changing articles and applying complicated procedures... Probably I missed some newcomers' list, desk or whatever. Well, they say I can't "break Wikipedia" so I'll keep on having intellectual fun :) --Futurano 19:20, 25 March 2007 (UTC)
Hi Futurano, welcome to Wikipedia. I saw your post on the Urban Studies & Planning Page and I'm glad to hear that you're interested in helping on this. Let me know if you run into any kinks or issues, I'm pretty new myself but I might be able to help!
Welcome again,
--Helm.ers 13:17, 28 March 2007 (UTC)
Hi! Thanks! I was out for some time, but I'll be there at that project. --Futurano 13:18, 29 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] WikiProject International development
Hi Futurano,
I've responded at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject International development#Where do I begin?. Sorry for the delay - I've been focused on Appropedia and haven't been checking in at the WikiProject International development very often. Let me know on my talk page if you have any questions. --Chriswaterguy talk 00:20, 16 April 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Julia Gray - The Guardian Cycle
Futurano - I switched around the names for the merger. It seems to me that more people would reference the book title than the author name, especially since the article has next to nothing about the author, but has full plot synopses on the books.
- -- Jvv62 01:15, 18 June 2007 (UTC)
- Well, I'm less than happy about your actions. Primarily because you neglected the WP:MM procedure instructing to suggest the merger (actually re-merger in our case) and wait five to ten days. I would disagree with the re-merger if you did all that right. Anyway, I'm not going to dispute the procedure disregard on such an article. But please don't do it again. I was hoping that members of our project follow the merging rules strictlier than other users. BTW this is an easy way to avoid complaints from initial authors of articles merged in our attempts.
- My second point concerns the notability and current quality of both articles. The Guardian Cycle remains as underreferenced and unnotable as they both were before our team got around to Julia Gray. I didn't raise the issue because the Cycle was suggested to merge. But know, after the merger, I have to remark the new article's defects, which may ultimately lead it to our project again. Hope you will understand and accept my concerns. Thanks, -- Futurano 19:31, 24 June 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Rip notability
U claim Chicago rapper Rip's album "Coming up in the Game" has no notability...then please explain why websites, forums and fans from a whole different country (Germany) are talking about him amongst many notable rappers!?
See for yourself:
