Future Entertainment is a Melbourne, Australia electronic music touring company, created by Mark James, who is known as one of the most influential dance music event organisers in Australia. [1]
It has organised highly successful events such as Summadayze, Future Music Festival, Two Tribes, and God's Kitchen Australia since the mid 1990s, as well as running successful one off shows such as The Chemical Brothers at Vodafone Arena, Melbourne. The company has successfully toured artists such as Armin van Buuren, Paul van Dyk, Roger Sanchez, Fatboy Slim, Basement Jaxx and many more over the last ten years. Crowds at their events, such as at Sydney's Randwick Racecourse and Melbourne's Sidney Myer Music Bowl have attracted more than 20,000 people consistently.[2][3]
Since 2006 Future has operated the Famous club night at Melbourne's Queen's Bridge Hotel.
