[edit] About Funny Games disamb page
Right now we have a disamb page called Funny Games with to options. The original 1997 film and the 2008 remake. I propose that we convert the disamb page to a redirect to the original film and then add a :for to the remake. This will save clicks for many users. I know that there is not a general rule for these cases but see for example that Psycho (film) redirects to the original 1966 film and Earth vs. the Spider is not a disamb page. -- Magioladitis (talk) 13:07, 26 March 2008 (UTC)
Really? Because the disambiguation page can go directly to the 2008 version (2 Clicks), whereas if searching "Funny Games" takes you straight to the 1997 version, and then you click to go to the remake, which would also be two clicks. How many clicks are saved there, bucko? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 64.26.112.5 (talk) 14:27, 27 March 2008 (UTC)
So with now: You need 2 clicks for each film. With my suggestion you need 2 clicks for the remake and 1 click for the original. One click less. -- Magioladitis (talk) 14:38, 27 March 2008 (UTC)
- IMO, it's fine as it is now. Unless one version was universally more well known than the other, then I don't see the point in changing the disambig page to a redirect. Maybe in time, the remake will become more well known (certainly to the American auidence). Lugnuts (talk) 15:46, 27 March 2008 (UTC)
