Fulmer is a village in south Buckinghamshire, England. Originally a village in its own right, today it is considered by many to be a part of Gerrards Cross, though residents of Fulmer like to maintain that it is a separate place.

The village name is Anglo-Saxon in origin, and means "lake frequented by birds". It was recorded in manorial rolls in 1198 as Fugelmere.

In the late 17th century the owners of the manor in Fulmer were forced to sell their house to their servants because they had squandered away their money and could not afford to pay them. The manor then passed into the hands of the Duke of Portland.

Today the common land that surrounds Fulmer to the south is the brand of leafy picturesque countryside that most people think of when they think of Buckinghamshire. Many films have been shot in this area, including Sleepy Hollow. The ford was the setting for the famous "Get out and Push!" scene in the classic Kenneth More film Genevieve.
