The illustration covers the text, so that it is not possible to read the text without clicking on "edit this page". Could someone who knows how to fix this do so? Thanks. Michael Hardy 19:17 Apr 30, 2003 (UTC)

Looks fine here. Which browser? -- Tarquin 19:35 Apr 30, 2003 (UTC)
I have used an HTML div tag around the image to align the image to the right. I copied this technique from other articles such as Adolf Hitler. Can you see those correctly? Also check the other font pages linked to from serif and sans-serif please. I'm watching this space, so you can either report here or on my user talk page. Thanks. -- djmutex 2003-04-30

[edit] Apple and Myriad

"Apple Computer uses Myriad as its new corporate font..."

The font Apple is using now is called Lucida Grande. Is this just another version of Myriad? It's almost identical to Lucida Sans. They also still use Apple Garamond for a few things, more on-screen than in print, and mostly for titles. -- WurdBendur 15:14, Feb 4, 2005 (UTC)
Lucida Grande is used extensively in Apple's Mac OS X interface. For all of its ads, it uses a weight of Myriad Pro, in many cases Semibold. Apple Garamond has been largely phased out.

[edit] German street signs

Is this the same font that's on German street signs, or is that a different font? I can't tell. -Branddobbe 06:34, Mar 10, 2005 (UTC)

The German version is a different font altogether -- DIN. --DF08 07:59, 10 Mar 2005 (UTC)

[edit] It is a different typeface

Yes, WHAT is that face? A recent article in perhaps eye or ID showed a new digitial version of the Berlin Street sign typeface. Very cool, even a tad scary in its history. CApitol3

Direction signs in Germany use DIN 1451. The Berlin street sign typeface is somewhat different, but I don't know what it is. And there are still some East German street signs in former East Berlin that use a different typeface again.--GagHalfrunt 10:52, 4 October 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Best-Selling? crap!

The Frutiger-typeface is definitely not the best-selling font of the linotype foundry. it doesn't even appear under the top 10....so far! —Preceding unsigned comment added by Discocru (talk • contribs) 15:35, 23 September 2007 (UTC)
